SAMRUDHA : Care Centre for Children
Samrudha: Care Center for Children is an initiative of Changanacherry Social Service Society (CHASS) for providing care and treatment to children less than 18 years befallen under the clutches of addiction in one or another way, established in March 2021. The centre is situated in a scenic beauty compound of Samrudha Agro-Development Centre owned and managed by CHASS.
Our Mission
To provide a healthy and disciplined environment with quality services for the minors who are in the bait of addiction to promote individual growth and be better assets to the family and society.
Our Vision
To be the rehabilitation that contributes significantly to society and to the state as a whole by helping the minors who are in the bait of addiction.
Objectives
- Creating a climate where children affected by drug or alcohol abuse can open up and discuss their problems, receive help with confidentiality, and have respect for each individual’s dignity.
- To provide them with individual support and care to overcome the addiction by realizing themselves and understanding their potential through individual counselling and behavioural training.
- Helping members of the victim’s family understand and discuss their feelings and reactions is part of providing mutual comfort and support through family counselling.
- Encouraging parents and members of the family of the children to seek professional help and support in the form of counselling services to break down feelings of isolation when faced with a drug-related situation.
- Telling parents, teachers, and the community that they should not try to manage the problem of drug or alcohol addiction in their children alone but should seek counselling and support services for the abusive child or children and themselves.

- Three months of regular counselling, medication, yoga, sports, and arts therapy and rehabilitation.

- Facility for caring for 30 children at a time.
- Counselling service for Friends and Parents.
- AA groups and Follow-up Caring.
